Isabella’s newborn session at my Papakura studio was truly special. She arrived with her mum, dad, and both sets of grandparents. What a lucky little girl—to be surrounded by so much love from the very beginning!
Including grandparents in a newborn session adds so much meaning. Their love, wisdom, and deep connection bring something truly special to these portraits. Watching them cradle their grandchild, eyes filled with pride, creates a moment families will cherish forever. These images become treasured keepsakes, reminding families of the love shared across generations.
Grandparents often have busy schedules, so I make it easy for them to join. We can arrange a short time for them to pop in, take some photos, and then continue with their day. This ensures they can be part of the experience without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Even just a few moments together can create priceless memories.
During Isabella’s session, we captured a variety of portraits. Some featured Isabella alone, others with her parents, and of course, some with her grandparents. The joy on their faces as they held their precious granddaughter was heartwarming. It’s rare to have professional portraits of three generations together, making these images even more valuable in the years to come.
As a newborn photographer in Auckland, I aim to make each session relaxed and enjoyable. My Papakura studio’s natural light provides a soft, flattering glow that enhances the simple and elegant style of my work. Families also have access to the studio wardrobe, ensuring a seamless experience. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy these special moments.
